The Tourist Police has experienced a project aimed to improve safety on the beaches. In Bellaria Igea Marina 5 women dressed in blue have patrolled the most frequented areas.

The experiment of the Tourist Police ended yesterday went well, having a positive feedback among tourists. For next summer, the mayor of Bellaria plans to enhance the staff . The Tourist Police officials were involved not only in a surveillance work but also in the reception and information support. Five girls, aged 20 to 30 years, have provided information in 6 different languages, have stopped the illegal trade, and acted in cases of loss of property. Moreover, the agents have the welcomed tourists, thanks to a camper and a Panda which gave them also the possibility to intervene in emergency cases.
