Santarcangelo: Possible Buyer of Docci Palace

Docci Palace, the historic building of Santarcangelo, was auctioned last year already twice, but you never found a buyer. The Ausl which owns 75% of the property, intends to sell Docci, funding in this way the construction of new clinics and thus has relaunched the sale. This time, however, has not opted for an auction, but rather decided to launch an "expression of interest" for the property so as to understand whocould be the possible buyers.
With this new method, many who were contacted and asked for information on the property. Moreover, a Rimini businessman has submitted two projects for the upgrading of the building. The first project involves converting it into a hotel, while the second concerns the construction of an apartment building. Both projects were reviewed by the City, which, however, prefers to see the Docci transformed into a hotel. The Local Health will deal with the negotiations to close the deal, probably planning a bid with value of less than the other two auctions.
