Vincenzo Muccioli, founder of the rehabilitation center for drug addicts has disappeared 15 years ago. Sunday September 19, the children of San Patrignano drug rehabilitation center founded by Muccioli, will “celebrate” him with a big party.

From Friday 17 to Sunday, September 19, Sanpa center (San Patrignano) will be opened to the public in order to commemorate the founding of the center Vincenzo Muccioli. The 1600 children of the center will organize a festival with exhibitions, debates and music in honor of Muccioli. Andrea Muccioli, Vincent’s son, said the center is not simply a place for drug addicts, but it is a place of aid and growth. Andrea recalls his father as a great educator who has managed to establish one of the largest rehabilitation centers where many children have been hosted and helped.

Many events will be organized in only three days. Friday 17: a photo exhibition entitled "Vincent". The exhibition will display photos of the center, taken by young photographers from the center and by Mauro Galligani and Massimo Sestini. Starting at 6 pm on Friday the documentary "Living", directed by Jeremie Attali will be screened, a film whoch presents 12 months of daily life of five children of the center. The concert of Giovanni Falzone Quartet will close the first day of the festival dedicated to Muccioli. Saturday and Sunday the events will bring many other guests.
