Rimini: Families Complain about the Noise of Jekyll Club

Jekyll Club was recently opened in via Saffi at Rimini, a quiet bar with TV at normal volume that during the night turns into a club with live music where bands perform at a certain level, some from the U.S. and Britain. The owner explained that by 10 pm the bar transforms into the home of rockmusic and that the noise is inevitable, a normal thing for places frequented by young people.
Two neighboring families however do not appreciate the noise and thus sent a letter to Botteghi, to the Mazzini Republican House - co owner of the structure, to ARPA and the City, demanding action to stop the noise.
Botteghi stresses that the club was opened for the performance of live music, but at midnight the music stops, respecting in this way the rules on noise ordinance. To meet the families, he is willing to reach an agreement that would allow him to work and the neighbors to sleep peacefully. A solution would be that of performing live music only three days a week. The owner also recalls that it has invested heavily to upgrade and soundproof the room.
Pending an adequate decision, Botteghi decided to defend his case through a petition asking to keep the music alive, a petition already signed by over 200 people.
