Rimini: The City Provides Financial Support to Citizens and Organizations

In 2010, the Municipality of Rimini got more involved in the housing projects, allowing financial contributions to over 1982 people for a total of € 1,532,117, which were used to pay the cost of housing rent. A significant contribution was paid in the field of civil protection, which has received € 1,274,144 used to finance specific projects carried out by associations. Among the most significant: "From 4 up" the association Families with four or more children, "Michel Roland"of Pope John XXIII, "Safe Station" Madonna of the association of charity Action Center Caritas. The Municipality of Rimini has donated € 35,886 for the mobility and autonomy in the household and € 111,197 for contributions to the elimination of architectural barriers in private buildings.
The City also sustained the right to study: over 1215 children have benefited from the exemption from school fees, while € 137,959 was granted in favor of 989 for the free supply of textbooks. The City also has contributed with € 413,246 to the operation of 21 kindergarten which provide assistance for disabled pupils .
The town of Rimini has actually supported many other areas, such as projects of international cooperation and solidarity, co-financing 30 projects of aid for the poorest people in the world, Africa, Middle East, Asia and even in Haiti.
