Rimini: "Lo Sport non ha Età/Sport has no Age"

The project "The sport has no age"/"Lo sport non ha eta'" gave the opportunity to people over 65 years to get closer to sport, participating in two months of fitness and activities especially designed for them. Over 1200 people have been active in various sports such as gymnastics activities, tennis, dance, yoga, water aerobics. After completing the two-month trial offered by the project and devised by the Department for Sports of Rimini, the gyms have offered special prices for the participants of the project for all the rest of the year.

Yesterday at the Sports Palace a great feast was held celebrating the end of the project. Turco said that the hall was packed and everyone danced until exhaustion. The party was attended by the mayoral candidate Andrea Gnassi, by the students of the School of Ballet of Roberta Clean, Mirco and Sandra teachers of 'The Sirens Dancing. The highlight of the festival was when the 17-time world champions in figure skating, Venerucci Patrick and Beatrice Palazzi Rossi performed magnificently thrilling the audience. During the afternoon Anthea offered flowers to all the present ladies, while the bakers oven and Confartigianato Rimini Fellini offered to all cookies and donuts. After the cake, CAAR offered the fruit.
