Paganello: Silver Medal for Rimini

Monday, April 25, at Rimini Paganello took place the finals of the World Cup of Beach Ultimate, now in its twenty-first edition. In Open and Junior category Rimini achived the silver medal.

About 3500 spectators were present at Paganello finals in Rimini , plus the frisbee enthusiasts streeming live on the web, where all four finals were transmitted .
The junior category first occupied the field, the Rimini Lemon Soda Drinkers (LSD) that have addressed their peers from the Czech Republic Trouble Band. Both teams gave their best in the last tournament, but the victory went to the Czech Republic with a score of 13 to 10. The Rimini won a well deserved second place.
In the Mixed category: United States and Russia. The 2011 world champions in this category were the U.S. O-Pig, who brought home a score of 15 to 10 on the Russians. Women won the category for the U.S. were that Ballers Fembot got beaten with 13 to 6 by the former champions Super Hot Pot
The last match of the day was that of the Open category between Rimini Cota Rica and the Americans Los Rabbit. Here again the Rimini took home a creditable silver medal.
In addition, Rimini Tequila Boom Boom nella cat. Women were placed fourth, as the Bolognese CUSB nella cat. Open. The bronze medal was instead awarded to the Junior Bolognese CUSB who beat the Italians Cani&Porci with 11 to 7.
