The Municipality of Rimini announced today that Novelli theater will not be sold until the Galli Theatre is fully restored.

There is a long debate on the sale of Novelli theater but Rimini City announces that it wopn’t be sold until Theater Galli is fully restored. Thus, the cultural activities in Rimini will take place regularly as planned. The sale of Novelli was approved with the budget voted on 11 March, with 24 votes in favor, 6 against and 2 abstentions. The proceeds from the sale of Novelli, about 6 million euros will be used to cover the costs of restructuring the theater Galli (about 30 million euros).

On the other hand, the councillors oppose to the sale of Novelli theater and seeks to convince the cityzens to oppese too explaining that if they oppose the sale of the theater, the City will take their opinion into consideration.
