Novelli "Clothing the Naked" by Pirandello

"Clothing the Naked," the story of troubled Ersilia, will be staged for three days at the Theater Novelli in Rimini. Will perform on the stage: Gaia Aprea, Anita Bartolucci, Alberto Fasoli, Giovanna Mangiù, Aldo Ottombrino, Paolo Serra and Enzo Turrin, directed by Luca De Fusco.

Pirandello tells the story of troubled Ersilia who, saved from the death, decided to be the character that she performes. Unfortunately no longer able to bear the weight of reality, Ersilia really decides to commit suicide. The text of Pirandello anticipates the strong influence that the media has on our time. In the review of De Fusco, Ersilia grant an interview on television, instead of a newspaper as the original, in order to bring the atmosphere of a "reality show" by explicit scenes from the video of Fabrizio Plessi, the costumes created by Maurizio Millenotti, the music of Antonio Di Pofi and the lights by Gigi Saccomandi
