No Alcohol on the Riviera after 3 pm

No Alcohol Riviera after 3

Starting with tonight - no alcohol on the Riviera after 3 pm in public places. For shops and supermarkets the ban wil be activated at midnight.

Farewell to 'pizza and beer' at the first light of morning or even after the disco. These are the last-minute changes to the street code which were approved yesterday by the Senate. Starting with this evening already, no alcohol on the Riviera after 3 am in all bars, restaurants, pubs included, which will also be required to keep within the bars the alcohol tests. Starting at midnight no more alcohol in shops and supermarkets and for all those who have no license for the administration but only for the sale of aclcohol. The music also will change on the beach: happy hour drinks will still be on, but alcohol and music by the sea will flow only from 5 to 8 pm. Many people remain critical about the effectiveness of such law which may ensure more safety on the street but it limits the individual’s freedom.
