Tuesday night the Augustinians of Rimini, begin the sixty-first edition of the Music Festival of Malatesta.

At 9.30 pm the opera “The Love and Death Song” by Alfiere Christoph Rilke will be staged in homage of Rilke himself. Denis Krief will direct the opera, Brighitte Ravenel mezzo-soprano, narrator - Hans Fleischmann and Francesco Libetta - piano. On 2 September the festival will continue with a concert by Riccardo Chailly who will open the series of festival of the Palacongressi of Rimini. Riccardo Chailly will conduct the Gewandhausorchester of Leipzig in a concert dedicated to Schumann. For more information and reservations contact : 0541.24152.
