The Diocese of Rimini Conference in Santarcangelo

The Bishop of Rimini, Francesco Lambiasi, started the diocesan convention of Santarcangelo through a letter, explaining that education is an indispensable word. The convention of the pastoral year 2010/2011 is dedicated to the "mission"and is the result of a process that began in 2009 with the year dedicated to "contemplation" and continued in 2010 with the theme of "communion. This year, the conference will take place from Thursday to Saturday; over 490 members (from 82 parishes and 45 between movements and ecclesiastic groups) will participate in various conferences and workshops in the program organized by 10 speakers and 15 volunteers. Andrea Turchini, coordinator of the conference, explained that the purpose of the Diocese is to raise awareness in society regarding the issue of education, the responsibility of everyone: families, schools, institutions and the voluntary sector.
The conference will begin on 31 at 4.30 pm, with the report of the Archbishop of Bologna, Cardinal Caffarra.
