The sixty-first edition of the Music Festival of Malatesta, in Rimini, is about to begin at Palacongressi auditorium.

The Festival of Malatesta was presented with the work "Song of Love and Death of the Ancient” of Christoph Rilke by Denis Krief, and tonight at 9 pm , the orchestra conducted by Riccardo Chailly will officially open the Festival Music of Malatesta 2010. Chailly will conduct the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig, one of the most famous in the world. The concert of the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Rimini will be a tribute to Robert Schumann. Together with the orchestra conducted by Chailly the young pianist Kit Armstrong will also perform. Kit Amstrong is one of the most talented soloists of the new generation.
