Castel Sismondo Hosting the Exhibition "The Castles of Malatesta"

The exhibition "The Castles of Malatesta" is supported by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Rimini, will allow people to know more about the fortresses of Malatesta, Romagna and Marche. The permanent exhibition housed in Castel Sismondo, was inaugurated today at 5 pm. Visitors can admire the two models representing the physical location of the forts of Romagna and the Marche (as Cesena, Gradara, San Leo and Fano) and the representation of Castel Sismondo as it could have been if completed with Pallazzo Pensile (never completed). Within the Sala dei Castelli space are also dozens of panels depicting 25 castles of Malatesta and the reproduction of five miniature weapons. In addition, on three screens one can read the story of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, the character is known in Italy and abroad, curated by Giovanni Rimondini, and an artistic production for the period of Malatesta by Piero Pasini, told through video media.

The exhibition will be open to the public free entrance from 10 to 6 pm for the entire month of March. From April to June it will be open from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm entrance € 2. Closed on Monday.
