Bad Weather Creates Damages on the Adriatic Coast

The beach on the Adriatic coast is in danger, the sea and the big waves caused by bad weather in recent days have ruined much of the coast. The City of Misano, as well as other towns on the coast, took some photos and would appeal to the region to seek to lift the barriers in order not to lose the little that it remained.
In Bellaria, the wind has reached force 8 . The dune has failed to stop the force of the waves, causing damage in the Arancia Beach. In Igea Marina, the dune has withstood the force of the sea but has brought with it precious sand. Things did not go better in Viserbella either, where reefs have not done their job. In Riccione the waves have reached the foundations, but the dunes have prevented the flooding of many other structures and underground parking along the promenade. At Misano instead the sea has reached the restaurants on the beach, carrying debris of all kinds: rocks, logs and brushwood. The damage and the amount of sand remained available on the Romagna coast, will be better quantified only when the weather improves.
