Gastronomic Fish Autumn Festival Cesenatico: This is the occasion to celebrate one of the most typical food ingredients of our cuisine, renowned for its high nutritional value, for its richness in mineral salts, vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids. A weekend to taste fish specialities.
The main events are: a big fish tasting at the Colonia Agip, where traditional recipes will be prepared by the cooks of the Restaurant Association of Cesenatico and offered at very affordable prices.
In the town centre and along the banks of the canal port several stands for fish tastings.
The fishermen of Cesenatico prepare the classical "rustida" (grilled fish). For those who prefere to buy fish and cook it at home the fish market is open for the whole length of the festival.

Event timetable: Market exhibition every day from 9am to 8pm; Fish tastings every day from 11am to 3pm and from 6pm to 11pm.
Programme:
The program of the Fish Festival includes: a market exhibition with about 80 stalls; the special opening of the fish market; open air stalls on the Canal Port and in the town center with tasting of baked and grilled fish.
At the Colonia Agip a huge restaurant is open for the whole lenght of the festival, with a wide range of traditional fish recipes prepared by the cooks of the Association of Restaurants of Cesenatico at affordable prices.
Some of the most famous restaurants of the town, will propose during the event, special fish menues (hot and cold starter, first course, second course) at moderate prices.
