Chestnut Pastry Festival Salarolo Ravenna

The traditional Romagnolo product from Solarolo called “sabadò”, a pastry with chestnut filling soaked in Saba, gives its name to an important food festival to be held on Saturday November 20 and Sunday 21.

There will be a large food stand open from morning to night where it will be possible to taste and buy various specialities from Romagna, also possible throughout the streets of the historical town centre, and there will also be a market for farm products.

Date: 20/11/2010 and 21/11/2010
Event timetable: Saturday from 6.30 pm. Sunday from 10.00 am.

Programme:
Saturday 20:
from 6.30 pm: covered food stands with typical Romagna menu, sabadò, sugali sweets.
8.00 pm: music.
Sunday 21:
10.00 am: opening of stands with sabadò, sugali.
Shops will be open downtown… market stands with typical products.
12.00 pm: festival lunch (covered).
3.00pm: games in the piazza with the traditional TURKEY RACE.
6.00pm: BINGO draw; prizes: 1st prize “tombola” 250 euros, “decina” 125 euros, “cinquina” in a row 50 euros, “cinquina” not in a row 15 euros.
