Caravan Meeting 2010 Cesena

The camper rally -Cesena Città Malatestiana- will be held inside the horse racetrack of Cesena, in a wide space, lit and with services and a discharge area, next to the bus stop to the historic centre (just 800 metres away).

During the weekend, the city centre will host an international festival of street food, a manifestation first held in Cesena in 2000, the only European festival dedicated to this type of food. There will be food stands offering street food from all over Italy and the world.
On October 2 there will be a Culture Night: events, concerts, shows until night. Every camper will be given a welcome pack with the well-known wine and food products of Romagna. There will be guided tours to the main monuments of the city, among which the famous Malatesta Library.

Programme:
Friday 1 October
Registration from 3PM to 12AM, with distribution of the welcome pack
Saturday 2 October
Registration from 8AM to 8PM, with distribution of the welcome pack
At 10AM and 4.30PM, guided tours of Cesena for the first group (minimum 20 people). Gathering at Palazzo del Capitano (2.5 hours) or free visit of the city with Cesena Card, which offers free admission to the museums.
From 2.15PM visit of Longiano. A few miles from Cesena, it is a small town right on the foothills of Romagna. It has a typically medieval historic centre surrounding the malatestian fortress of 1200. In 1992, Longiano was declared an "Ideal town" and since 2005 it has the Orange Flag of TCI.
Leaving by bus from the racetrack in two turns: at 2.15PM, coming back at 5.15 PM, and at 3.30PM, coming back at 6.30PM. Booking is compulsory (maximum 100 people).
Sunday 3 October
9.30AM Greetings and "ciambella" for all
10.30AM Excursions in nature and history walking or by bike (3 hours, min. 30 people)
2.30PM Guided tours of Cesena for the third group (minimun 20 people). Gathering at Palazzo del Capitano (2.5 hours) or free visit of the city with Cesena Card, which offers free admission to the museums.
Before 8PM caravans must leave.

Entrance: entry fee
Full fee: 12€

The admission fee, including all that is in the programme, is 12€ per caravan. It is compulsory to book before 27 September 2010.
